So...Im leaving the country

Hello all,
For those of you reading this blog, I am assuming you already know that I am about to embark on an incredible journey to Buenos Aires, Argentina where I will be working with Campus Crusade for Christ.  If you didn’t know that and just happened to stumble upon this webpage, now you know.
I will be in BA for 14 months, beginning September 6, ministering to college students on campuses there.  I am very excited about following the Lord’s will for my life and for what He has in store for me when I get there.

THIS SUMMER:

Both the Argentina STINT teams (BA and La Plata)
Most of the summer I have been raising support for my trip and I’m glad to finally be able to say that I am completely done!  This is great because now, until I leave, I don’t really have to worry about much except for packing and saying goodbye to people.
In July I got to go to Team Leader training in Boulder, CO, where I met my co-leader Jessica and many other STINT TL’s from around the nation.  It was a great week despite the information overload that I have now come to expect from any Campus Crusade briefing, training, etc.  Also, from August 12-19 I was in Chicago for briefing where I met my team for the first time!  They are awesome, I feel like we bonded very quickly, and I can’t wait to spend the next 14 months with them!
So that’s mainly what I’ve been doing this summer and now I am pretty much just waiting until the 6th.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
-wisdom for my co-leader and me
-the Lord’s will be done with support for my teammates
-safe travel
-team unity

Thanks to all who follow this blog and I hope to keep you up to date as much as I can.  My previous blog (summer 09 in Spain) failed miserably but I hope this one does better…I don’t think it can do to much worse.  More to come soon (hopefully)!
